Scott DeShazo was raised in Austin. He is an experienced trial lawyer and is recognized by Texas Monthly as a Rising Star in the practice of law. Scott earned his JD from Texas Tech University School of Law, and has a Master of Theological Studies degree from Vanderbilt University. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University. Prior to founding DeShazo & Nesbitt, Scott was a partner in the Austin firm Herman, Howry & Breen LLP. He also has experience in the Texas Attorney General’s office. Scott is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Eastern, Northern and Southern districts of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Scott and his wife, Shawna, have two young boys.

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Baylor University in Waco, his hometown. Prior to founding DeShazo & Nesbitt, Tom was with the Austin office of Fulbright & Jaworski. Tom is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Southern and Northern Districts of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He and his wife, Nancy, have two small children.

Rachel Noffke is an experienced litigator who has successfully represented both individuals and corporations in all phases of business litigation, including pre-trial discovery, trial, appeal and settlement. She takes time to counsel her clients about the pros and cons of litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Rachel analyzes and extensively researches evolving legal issues in the contract, employment and legal malpractice arenas.
